The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami partners with the Stamps Scholars Program to award multi-year scholarships to help driven and talented student leaders achieve their education and life goals. Stamps Scholars pursue their educational interests while developing their leadership skills with merit-based financial aid including enrichment funds that can be used for study abroad, cultural exchanges, research projects, and other educational experiences. Stamps Scholars also join a community of more than 1,370 current and graduate Scholars around the world with whom they network and share their experiences.
Stamps Ensemble Scholarships are unique offerings at the Frost School that provide 19 outstanding instrumental performance majors with award packages equal to the full cost of attendance as outlined in the annual published on-campus Cost of Attendance. The package includes tuition and fees, an amount equivalent to published housing and food costs, and access to an enrichment fund that can be used toward travel, materials, or artistic engagements. The scholarship is renewable for up to four academic years.
Stamps Ensemble members serve as role models for the core values of the highly acclaimed Frost School of Music at the University of Miami; the pursuit of excellence in a culture of collegiality in which a diversity of people, musical styles, and careers are valued. Stamps Ensemble members will provide leadership in new initiatives, hone their skills as performers, and bring to the world the greatest attributes of an inclusive, thoughtful musician; the power to listen, react, and create great and transformative art through collective cooperation and musical conversation.
